Despite the team's misadventures this year, I am deeply grateful that Ralph Friedgen will continue as coach. Being a great COLLEGE coach means more than just winning a lot of games. It also means running a clean program with a superb academic support unit that prepares these young men for life after sports; for many of them, it is the turning point in lives that could otherwise be a downhill path.
ReplyDeleteIt also means creating a real family atmosphere that gives each member a "home" for life.
In both respects, Coach Friedgen has been truly outstanding, and I'm grateful Dr. Yow reocpgnizes that!
